During Night trek to Kunti Betta on 12th December 2015, I got new friends and while discussing trekking places around Bengaluru with one of guy who is having maiden trekking experience with BAT, idea of Day trek on 20th December came. Place was yet to be finalized, there where few options we had including Savanadurga. Finally, decided to trek Narayanagiri on 20th December 2015 which is near by Jalamangala village (Ramanagara).
Even I also not explored Narayanagiri before. Did my homework of planning itinerary, reading blogs (Experience from previous visitors to the place) from Net so planned event can be executed properly on mentioned date. Prepared registration form and sent mail across Bangalore AdvenTurers (BAT) google group. Mode of transport kept was Bike, Car or TT (In case of registrations more than 15). Got 11 registrations and decided to go on 3 Cars.

Has planned by me, meetup point was Nayanda Halli Junction & kept meetup time sharp 6:00 AM so we can start to Ramanagara early and climb the Narayanagiri Hill before Sun comes out. About the Place:
Narayanagiri at Jalamangala is an idyllic hill fort that is perfect for a weekend getaway and has something for everyone. Sited deep in the countryside near Ramanagaram, Narayanagiri soars to a height of around 3845 ft. The entire hill is fortified and one can see the remains of a fort wall almost encircling the top of the hill completely.
A-top the hill is the Laxmi-Narayana temple, with an exterior of shiny black granite. The temple is open only on Saturdays and is accessible via an irregular footpath in the lower parts and rough steps, hewn on the stone rock face in the upper reaches.

After reaching base of Narayanagiri around 8:00 AM, parked our cars and had self-intro session at base of the hill.
Started to ascend the hill around 8:30 AM. Initially, it was very confusing for us which path to opt for trek due to ongoing work at base of the hill. Using JCB, road was made at Narayanagiri hill base till halfway stage and new steps creation work is going on at Narayanagiri hill with chipping of stones as per need. We decided to go on road and new path because actual path was damaged due to ongoing work at base. It was very tough climb for us with 75 degree incline to reach the top and it was only short route available to the top with sheer steepness. Finally, we reached top after all the circus by 9:45 AM.
Spent around 45 minutes at top by relaxing and clicking beautiful pics.
Started to descend around 10:30 AM as decided and reached base by 11:30 AM using actual path of Narayanagiri trek. Path was demolished at base due to ongoing work. I will not suggest for any Day or Night trek to Narayanagiri for another 3 months due to ongoing work of new path at Narayanagiri.
