- Interesting and scary stories of villages belonging to the valley explained by trek lead Saranbir in the evening during home stay is one of best moments of this trek for me.
Day in brief:
By end of Day 3 all of us clearly knows where is our journey heading too. Its heavy snowfall on Monday halted our journey till Osla village. Team is big in number with 24, Heavy snow at further campsite made our trek crew to halt our journey till Osla. Organizers decided to spend Day 4 on exploring around Osla village and trek till halfway to the next campsite then get back to Osla village. Finally Day 4 turned out to be buffer day of Har Ki Dun winter trek.
As usual, all of us got up around 6:30 AM one by one and freshen up. Had morning tea, followed by breakfast and packed lunch. Time is not issue because this one is become buffer day of the trek with lot of time in store. All of us enjoyed beautiful morning at Osla home stay. Clicked magnificent beauty of nature in our 3rd eye (DSLRs) during this part of the day. It is one of the best mornings i had in my life after lovely drama of nature on previous day.
After daily morning briefing session for the days plans from TL, we all started trek around 10:00 AM. It was beautiful view of the valley with snowy mountains including trails full of snow. It’s white everywhere with sun is shining. Everyone enjoying the day to their Best!!!
Pariyon Ki Gudi with some interesting stories, Scenic Swargarohini 2 & 3 peaks, Zigzag trails, Breathtaking trails of further camps and Snowy Seema village with beautiful bridge – It is treat for our eyes. What a day we had! En route i experimented more with my camera. We have enough time to experiment on our cameras and clicked lovely pics 😛
Around 12:00 PM, all of us reached our destination for the trek. Since we have enough time to explore for the day planned to take more rest here. Had our lunch and took plenty of group photos. Maximum altitude we reached during trek is 9105 feet.
After 1 hour of break for lunch, all of us started return journey to Osla home stay around 1:00 PM. Pics, Pics, Pics with unforgettable memories!!! We were capturing snaps all the way back to Osla.
Reached Osla home stay around 3:00 PM. Still we had enough time to explore more and decided to explore Osla village. Had tea and moved to village houses of Osla. Explored village for 90 minutes and clicked lovely group photos with kids of this remote village.
Trek lead informed us to return by 5:00 PM for snacks. Meanwhile all of us saw beautiful girls of Osla village began to sang. Their voice is Melodious and it was magical voice of Gaav Ki Goris made our evening pleasant one. Most of us especially Mumbaikars moved to those village houses where Gaav ki Goris lending their voice. It is Lifetime memories for all of us and me too went there. Captured beautiful pics in my camera and enjoyed melodious voice of these girls. Lovely experience for all of us! Finally, got back to our home stay and had common formality of Cake cutting as per IH policy.
Had dinner and told Bye Bye for the day.
