Day in brief:
After long day at Nanda Devi National Park summitting Mini Pangarchulla on previous day, last 2 days were formalities of completing the winter trek. Tali camp-site was just 4 Kms. away from Khulara inside dense forest. It can be used as first and last camp-site while trekking to Kuari Pass or Pangarchulla Peak. Guide told us to wake-up slowly since less distance to cover in the day. Previous night was most chilling one of the winter trek with temperature dipped more than -10 degree Celsius at night. After waking up around 7:00 AM, we all freshen-up and had breakfast. Waited for Mules to start towards Tali camp-site. Since lot of time left before leaving to Tali, we all enjoyed snowy fields of Khulara to the core and clicked classic pics.

Mules at Khulara camp-site

It was 11:10 AM, when Mules started towards Tali with packed camping accessories. All of us started our easy trek to Tali camp-site at 11:15 AM. It is easy trek inside dense forest on snowy trails of Nanda Devi National Park. Took many breaks before reaching the camp-site and enjoyed our snow walk to the core!!!

Finally, reached Tali camp-site around 1:30 PM. Had welcome drink rooh afza followed by veg biryani for lunch.

Roamed around the camp-site and collected wood for camp-fire. Few people from the group wanted to explore near-by meadows so they went towards meadows and returned to camp-site around 5:00 PM.
New year celebration at Tali camp-site
Camp-fire at Tali camp-site is longest one of the winter trek and it lasted till 1st day of 2016. After having dinner in the evening, we all decided to celebrate new year at camp-site. Few of us including me were at camp-fire till 12:30 AM and celebrated new year with hearing & singing melodies songs. Had new year cake served by nearby camp-site Trek lead of TTH. My best new year celebration till date. Dream come true for me with celebrating new year at Himalayas!!!
Told Bye Bye for the day at 12:30 AM with last day of trek just few hours away.
Note: We will not encounter any remote villages during the 4th days trek.
Camp-site:
Tali camp-site is last camp-site of our winter expedition. It comes inside dense forest. It can be used as first and last camp-site while trekking to Kuari Pass or Pangarchulla Peak.
Temperature: Dipped to Max -5 degree Celsius at night.
